Chilli paneer
Golden paneer cubes tossed with onion and bell pepper in a glossy, spicy soy sauce.

Ingredients
- 130 g Paneer
- ½ pepper Bell peppers
- ½ onion Onion
- 1 tbsp Cornflour
- 1 clove Garlic
- ¾ tbsp Soy sauce (reduced salt)
- ½ tbsp Sunflower oil
- 50 g Basmati rice
Method
- Toss the paneer cubes in cornflour to coat lightly.
- Heat the oil and pan-fry the paneer for 3-4 minutes, turning, until golden on all sides; remove.
- In the same pan, stir-fry the garlic, onion and bell pepper for 3-4 minutes over high heat, keeping them crunchy.
- Add the soy sauce and a splash of water, then return the paneer and toss to coat well.
- Rinse the rice and simmer in twice its volume of water for 15 minutes; serve the paneer over the rice.
