Ingredients
- 45 g Plain flour
- 2½ tsp Sugar
- 40 ml Milk (semi-skimmed)
- ½ egg Eggs
- ¾ tsp Baking powder
- ½ tsp Cardamom
- ½ tbsp Sunflower oil
- ¼ tsp Salt
Method
- Mix the flour, sugar, cardamom, baking powder and a pinch of salt, then work in the egg and milk to a soft dough. Rest for 15 minutes.
- Roll out and cut into triangles.
- Heat the oil and fry the triangles for 2-3 minutes per side until puffed and golden brown. Drain before serving.
