Sichuan cumin beef
Sizzling stir-fried beef with toasted cumin, chilli and sweet peppers.

Ingredients
- 160 g Sirloin steak
- ¾ onion Onion
- ½ pepper Bell peppers
- 65 g Jasmine rice
- 2 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1¼ tsp Chilli flakes
- 2 cloves Garlic
- ¾ tbsp Tamari (gluten-free)
- ½ tbsp Sunflower oil
- 10 g Spring onions
Method
- Cook the rice according to packet instructions.
- Stir-fry the beef in the oil over high heat for 2-3 minutes until browned; set aside.
- Add the onion and bell pepper to the pan and stir-fry for 3 minutes.
- Return the beef with garlic, cumin and chilli flakes, and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Toss through the tamari and spring onion, and serve over the rice.
