Korean beef bulgogi
Thin marinated beef slices seared until caramelised in a sweet garlic-soy marinade.

Ingredients
- 160 g Sirloin steak
- ½ onion Onion
- 70 g Jasmine rice
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 4 g Ginger
- 1 tbsp Tamari (gluten-free)
- 10 ml Mirin (rice cooking wine)
- 1¼ tsp Sugar
- 1¼ tsp Toasted sesame oil
- 10 g Spring onions
- ¾ tsp Sesame seeds
Method
- Cook the rice according to packet instructions.
- Mix the beef with garlic, ginger, tamari, mirin and sugar, and marinate for 10-15 minutes.
- Heat the sesame oil in a pan and stir-fry the onion for 2 minutes.
- Add the marinated beef and stir-fry over high heat for 3-4 minutes until caramelised.
- Scatter with spring onion and sesame seeds and serve over the rice.
