Ingredients
- 160 g Chicken thighs (boneless)
- ¾ onion Onion
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 8 g Ginger
- ¾ tsp Turmeric
- 1 tsp Chilli powder
- ¾ tsp Paprika
- ½ tomato Tomatoes
- ½ tbsp Sunflower oil
- 55 g Jasmine rice
Method
- Cook the rice in a covered pan with water for 20 minutes.
- Fry the onion in the oil for 10 minutes until soft and golden, add garlic and ginger for 1 minute.
- Stir in turmeric, chilli powder and paprika, then the tomato, and cook 6 minutes until thick.
- Add the chicken and 100ml water, cover and simmer 20 minutes until tender.
- Uncover and simmer 5 minutes more until the oil separates, and serve with the rice.
