Ingredients
- 70 g Whole green moong
- 15 g Rice flour
- 40 g Semolina (rava/sooji)
- ¼ onion Onion
- ¼ tsp Mustard seeds
- ¾ chilli Green chillies
- 2 g Curry leaves
- ½ tbsp Sunflower oil
- ¼ tsp Salt
Method
- Soak and blend the moong dal with a little water and salt into a smooth batter; loosen with the rice flour.
- Dry-roast the semolina for 3 minutes and set aside.
- Heat half the oil, splutter mustard seeds and curry leaves, soften the onion and chilli, then stir in the semolina with hot water until fluffy.
- Pour the moong batter onto a hot pan and spread thin; when set, spoon the upma along the centre.
- Fold the dosa over the filling and serve hot.
