Pesarattu (moong dal dosa)
Savoury green moong dal crepe, naturally protein-rich and made without onion or garlic.

Per serving, for one person.
Ingredients
- 80 g Whole green moong
- 15 g Rice flour
- ¾ chilli Green chillies
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- ½ tbsp Sunflower oil
- ¼ tsp Salt
Method
- Soak the moong dal for at least 4 hours, then blend with green chilli, cumin, salt and a little water into a smooth batter.
- Stir the rice flour into the batter to loosen it to a pourable consistency.
- Pour a ladle onto a hot, lightly oiled pan and spread thin.
- Drizzle a little oil around the edges and cook until the edges lift and it turns golden, about 3 minutes.
- Fold and serve hot with chutney.
