Crisp-fried beef strips tossed with scallion in a glossy sweet soy sauce.

Ingredients
- 160 g Sirloin steak
- 50 g Spring onions
- 65 g Jasmine rice
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 5 g Ginger
- 1 tbsp Tamari (gluten-free)
- 2 tsp Sugar
- 1¼ tbsp Cornflour
- ½ tbsp Sunflower oil
Method
- Cook the rice according to packet instructions.
- Toss the beef in cornflour and fry in the oil for 2-3 minutes until crisp and browned; set aside.
- Add the garlic and ginger to the pan and fry for 30 seconds.
- Whisk the tamari and sugar with 40ml water, pour in and simmer until glossy.
- Return the beef with the spring onion, toss briefly, and serve over the rice.
