Ingredients
- 60 g Basmati rice
- 1 egg Eggs
- 20 g Anchovies
- 70 g Green beans
- ½ onion Onion
- ¾ tsp Shrimp paste (belacan)
- 1½ chillis Red chillies
- ½ tbsp Sunflower oil
- ½ tbsp Soy sauce (reduced salt)
Method
- Cook the rice in a covered pan with water for 20 minutes, then spread out to cool.
- Blend the chilli, shrimp paste and onion to a paste, fry in the oil for 3 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the anchovies and green beans, stir-fry 3 minutes.
- Push aside, crack in the egg and scramble, then add the rice, breaking up any lumps.
- Stir-fry for 4 minutes with the soy sauce until evenly coated and slightly smoky.
