Ingredients
- 140 g Firm tofu
- 1½ tbsp Cornflour
- ½ tbsp Sunflower oil
- ¾ tbsp Soy sauce (reduced salt)
- 10 ml Mirin (rice cooking wine)
- 100 ml Vegetable stock
- 8 g Spring onions
Method
- Pat the tofu cubes very dry and dust lightly in cornflour.
- Heat the oil in a pan and fry the tofu on all sides for 5-6 minutes until crisp and golden.
- Meanwhile warm the stock with soy sauce and mirin in a small pan.
- Arrange the tofu in a bowl, pour over the warm broth and scatter with spring onion.
