Ingredients
- 25 g Basmati rice
- 250 ml Milk (semi-skimmed)
- 1¼ tbsp Sugar
- ½ tsp Cardamom
- 6 g Raisins
- 6 g Cashews
Method
- Bring the milk to a gentle boil in a heavy-based pan.
- Add the rinsed rice and simmer on low heat, stirring often, for 25-30 minutes until thick and creamy.
- Stir in the sugar, cardamom, raisins and cashews and simmer 5 minutes more.
- Serve warm or chilled.
