Baked methi na gota
Light, oven-baked fenugreek and gram-flour fritters, a lower-oil take on a Gujarati monsoon snack.

Ingredients
- 30 g Gram flour (besan)
- 25 g Methi leaves
- ½ chilli Green chillies
- ¼ tbsp Sunflower oil
- ¼ tsp Baking powder
- ¼ tsp Turmeric
- ¼ tsp Salt
- 2 g Coriander
Method
- Mix besan with chopped fenugreek leaves, green chilli, turmeric, salt and coriander into a thick batter with a little water.
- Fold in the baking powder just before baking.
- Drop small spoonfuls onto an oiled tray and flatten slightly.
- Bake at 200°C for 12-15 minutes, turning once, until golden and crisp.
