Ingredients
- 180 g Okra
- 25 g Gram flour (besan)
- 18 g Peanuts
- 2¾ tsp Sesame seeds
- ½ tbsp Sunflower oil
- 1 tsp Ground coriander
- ¾ tsp Chilli powder
- ¼ tsp Turmeric
- ¼ lemon Lemons
- ¼ tsp Salt
Method
- Dry-roast the crushed peanuts and sesame seeds with besan, coriander powder, chilli powder, turmeric and salt.
- Stuff this masala into the slit okra, packing in as much as it will hold.
- Heat the oil in a wide pan and lay the okra in a single layer.
- Cover and cook over low heat for 15-18 minutes, turning occasionally, until tender and lightly charred.
- Squeeze over lemon juice and serve.
