Ingredients
- 50 g Plain flour
- ½ tbsp Sunflower oil
- 1 tsp Berbere spice blend
- 1¼ tsp Sugar
- ¼ tsp Salt
Method
- Mix the flour with the berbere, sugar and salt, then work in the oil and just enough water for a stiff dough.
- Roll into a thin rope and snip into small pea-sized pieces, or roll into thin sticks.
- Fry in a little oil for 3-4 minutes, turning often, until deep golden and crunchy. Drain and cool before serving.
