Ingredients
- 70 g Semolina (rava/sooji)
- 30 g Green beans
- 30 g Green peas
- ¼ pepper Bell peppers
- ¼ tsp Mustard seeds
- 5 g Urad dal
- 5 g Chana dal
- 2 g Curry leaves
- ½ chilli Green chillies
- ½ tbsp Sunflower oil
- ¼ tsp Salt
Method
- Dry-roast the semolina in a dry pan for 3-4 minutes until fragrant; set aside.
- Heat the oil, splutter mustard seeds, then fry the urad and chana dal until golden.
- Add the green beans, peas, pepper, curry leaves and chilli, and cook 5 minutes.
- Pour in hot water (about double the semolina volume), season with salt, and bring to a boil.
- Stir in the roasted semolina in a steady stream, whisking to avoid lumps, and cook covered for 3 minutes.
